Spains Loss

I am currently watching the late re-run of the game played earlier between the Spanish and the Swiss. I didn't follow enough of the game to even try and give a lack-luster description of why the favorite for the world's cup laid a goose egg.

Since I don't have any educational information on why Spain did lose to an inferior team...I am going to have to take this time to blame it on their Unis. Yes...the Red/Blue/Gold/Black/Orange(cleats...if they count) uniforms that they sported for the Cup opener. This might be another biased American opinion but...... I feel like your uniforms should follow a strict guideline on their colors and/or layout. That strict guideline would state: The color of the team's uniform in question must match the color of the team's country flag, with some sort of fashionable thought. I'm assuming there is a good reason for why they wear the blue mismatching shorts....Country history I'm sure, but they gotta find some kind of better way to blend that collage of colors. Of course that would mean their sponsors,Adidas, would have to try and be creative for the first time as a corporation since that Oregon track coach-Bowerman-made those shoes with a waffle iron 30-plus years ago. Why Adidas refuses to make anything that doesn't resemble the USSR's wardrobe from the Cold War is perplexing. That's all puffery...Those jerseys are uglier than the lunch lady's daughter. Tengo no mas...estan bien Espana, conducen a la derecha 'PARA LA GANOOOO PARA LA GANOOOOO.'
